Welcome to Glowing Cross, a Weiss Kreuz Gluhen fanfiction archive and all-around general fansite. The purpose of this site is to serve as a one-stop repository not just for fanfiction, but also fanart, cosplay, vidding (AMVs), news, and just about anything else fandom-related you can think of for the anime series Weiss Kreuz Gluhen. Site navigation is accomplished via each of the six Weiss boys' heads up above. Hopefully you'll find something during your visit to satisfy your tastes - and if you don't, then why not try submitting something for the site?

Ratings and content warnings are listed at the top of each fanfic page; if you find yourself reading something you find objectionable, close the window and find something else more to your taste. Gluhen news
08/26/04 - Release dates for the final two volumes of Knight Hunters Eternity have confirmed from Media Blasters. Volume two, titled "Troubled Souls" and containing episodes 6-9 has a street date of 09/28/04; volume three, titled "Lost Memories" and will contain episodes 10-13 finishes out the series and has a street date of 11/16/04. Box art for volume two can be seen here. Volume one has been available in stores since mid-July. The rumored English dub outtakes did appear as an extra on this dvd and presumably be an extra on the next two as well, however, certain parts of Gluhen itself were changed slightly in the North American release, including the eyecatches and the so-called "creditless opening" included as a bonus on the first dvd. 04/27/04 - A release date of 07/27/04 has been confirmed for the first volume of Knight Hunters Eternity. The first volume is titled "New Blood" and is listed as having episodes 1-5. At Anime Boston Media Blasters also confirmed that they will be selling a special box that will hold both the first Knight Hunters series (Weiss Kreuz TV/Kapitel) and Knight Hunters Eternity (Weiss Kreuz Gluhen). There will not be room for the Weiss Kreuz OAVs in the box since Media Blasters has not been successful yet in their attempts to license both OAV episodes.
Right Stuf International is listing the first DVD on their site for preorder. Look here for box art and a summary of the first dvd.
02/14/04 - Media Blasters, the North American (Region 1) licenser for Weiss Kreuz ("Knight Hunters"), announced at their panel at Katsucon 10 that they have acquired the license to Weiss Kreuz Gluhen, and will be releasing it domestically under the title "Knight Hunters Eternity". No word yet on release date, episode count per disc, or extras, except that when I spoke with their licensing representative the next day in the dealer room, she confirmed that the same studio would be dubbing it, so the possibility of English voice actor outtakes is very high.
More information will be posted as additional details are released.
Site updates
12/14/04 - One last update for this year before I leave to visit family for Christmas. Fanfiction pages are updated with three new authors (Amet, Link621, and s1ncer1ty), new fics added from Lady Bast and Sephy, and new chapters have been added to A Christmas Wish, After 'Tomorrow', and To Those About To Die. Two new fanartists have submitted their work to the Fanart page - check out Link621's and Kittyling's fanart. The Fun page has been updated with pictures from Yaoi-Con, including the return of the frilly pink apron. 'This Time Imperfect', 'Tokyo Rose', and 'Seed of War' have been taken down and replaced with 'How to be Dead' and 'All That Could Have Been' on the AMV page. I've cleaned up the broken links on the Links page, added a few new ones, and linked to our new affiliates (Sena fanlisting, KenxSena fanlisting) on the both the Links and Main page.
08/26/04 - It's been awhile, but I've got a decent update to hopefully make up for it. First off, the fanfiction pages have been updated with new fics from five new authors (Alec Shields, Guilty Red, Minerva Solo, Vanilla Fire, and Yuki Scorpio); new fanfics from Hinto Hoshiko and Sephy, plus new chapters of A Christmas Wish, Price of Forgiveness, and Wo ist mein Bruder are up as well. I've added a few pictures to the Fun page of the cutest Gluhen Yohji cosplayer in existence that were taken at Fanime Con. I've updated the Fanart page with a new fanart from Hinto Hoshiko and a set of nine(!) Gluhen cat boy pictures done by Lady Bast. The 'Winter Born' and 'Irish Enchilada' AMVs have been taken down from the AMV page and replaced with 'This Time Imperfect', 'Seed of War', and 'Tokyo Rose' (the prize vid to Lady Bast, winner of the Kyou Aguri Fanfiction Contest). The front page has been updated with street dates for the last two Knight Hunters Eternity dvds.
04/27/04 - Oh boy, have I got the updates. Fanart pages are finally up - a huge thank you to everyone who submitted fanart! The Kyou Aguri Fanfiction Contest is judged and the results have been posted. The links page has been updated to include a link to an excellent Italian WK website with complete Side B scans. 'Coming Home' and 'A Killer Smile' AMVs have been taken down and 'Winter Born' and 'Irish Enchilada rotated into their places on the AMV page. Fanfiction has been updated with eight new authors (dolphin, Hinto Hoshiko, HourglassThorne, i.c.k., Lady Bast, Myka, Starherd, Vanessa S. Quest), new stories from Raat ke Rani and Raven Wings, and new chapters of A Christmas Wish, After 'Tomorrow', and That Special Homicidal Feeling. Front page has been updated with details about the first dvd release of Knight Hunters Eternity.
04/02/04 - Kyou Aguri Fanfiction Contest officially closed on 03/31/04. Uploaded all contest fics, and added a link to the contest fic archives on both the Fanworks page and Kyou Aguri Fanfiction Contest page. A more extensive fanfiction and fanart(!) update forthcoming shortly, once the contest is judged.
02/26/04 - New layout, courtesy of Amet. Fanfiction archive uploaded, with 28 authors and more than 50 fanfics. Anime music videos, Links, Random Fun, and Main pages uploaded. Kyou Fanfic Contest page updated with new layout.
01/14/04 - Kyou Aguri Fanfiction Contest officially opens. Deadline for entries is March 31st, 2004 23:59:59 PST.
